It is I...

Pleased to meet you all. My name is Carlos, and I'm majoring in Industrial Arts (concentration in Visual Communication) at San Francisco State University. I've had an interest in graphic design ever since I first messed around doing illustrations in Microsoft Paint. Now I spend most of my time messing around with Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe applications. A number of things influence what I do: music, movies, conversations with my friends, my surroundings- whether I'm walking down the street, driving on the freeway or sitting at my office desk pretending that I'm working (not all the time, I promise). I like to think that I can draw influence through any sort of medium- you just have to look for it.
As my picture could clearly indicate, I do have aspirations to relay my design capabilities with music related ventures. Be it album covers, posters, flyers, band websites/logo design, I like to put a visual to music as there is always a vision in my head when I hear music. Whether its a music video, the band/artist performing on an elaborate stage setup or some random psychedelic imagery, there is always something happening other than the music itself and I want to see what that is.

Six words that describe me: humble, determined, goofy, random, inspired, and hungry (now that I think of it).
